Portrait of Augustin Maillefer

The Frenchman Augustin Maillefer is not one to navigate in troubled waters: Portrait of the most Obwalden Vaudois experienced by high-level rowing.

When Augustin begins a little by chance rowing at the age of twelve, invited by one of his brothers, it is a sport child to whom the competitive spirit still escapes. He says it himself "In a way, I found that training was cheating". It will be enough for a lost regatta to give up the taste of defeat in favor of the flavors of the effort and victory. His current situation and his track record are evidence of this (see below).

Despite a very high level quickly reached in its discipline, the great teacher is the experiment has once again proved to Augustin that any machine, so powerful it is by nature (1,94m per 100kgs) is found limited without the right tools. When we see the pace at which our athlete faces, - 2 to 3 daily training, bachelor of science in sports in Lausanne - it seems obvious that we need the best of fuels to be able to harangue them.

As a prelude to Rio de Janeiro 2016, Augustine took the initiative to turn to Olivier Bourquin to refuel his engine. In total overtraining and looking for solutions, Olivier's nutritional program and BN Nutrition products have been a help to our ranger.

Since then, Augustin has been taking the BN NOW and the AFTER daily as part of his training, the Organic Spirulina of our range, Krill, Maca, the BN Base for acid-base balance, the 3-2-1 for recovery, and the inevitable BN ENERGY.

His record is clear: More desire, and greater ease to cash training.

In view of his qualification for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, Augustin can make sure of one thing: Two letters will do everything he can to ensure a tokiote stamp to his list: Not OB, but well and truly BN .
